Welcome back to our blog! We apologize for waiting so long to update, things have been pretty crazy around the bakery.




We want this blog to be a way for all of our customers and friends to see what is happening at the bakery, so this is going to be a little update from October. First we would like to share a couple of our favorite cakes from last month...

This cute little cupcake-cake was anything but little! A customer of ours from Houston asked us to do this cake because no one in her area was willing to work with so much icing. Our girls had so much fun decorating it, and it turned out fabulous. It was one of the heaviest single-tiered cakes that we have ever worked with, but we loved it and hope it was everything the birthday girl, Gaby, wanted!

This is another one of our favorites from the past few weeks. We get several orders for baby showers each week, but this is probably our favorite so far! The "prego" cake was also really fun for our decorators and got tons of complements.

Our staff sent October out in style by sporting their crazy Halloween costumes. It was such a fun day! We want to take this chance to introduce you to everyone.

On the far left is Chad, who makes the yummy lunches. Then Caryl, the owner of the bakery. Next to her are Erin and Beth who are our cake artists. On the far right is Abby, one of our cashiers. In front are Caitlyn, another cashier, and Jen, who is one of our newest decorators. Unfortunately not everyone was there for the picture, but we want to mention them here because we couldn't do it without them. We have two great bakers, Julia and Anna. We also have another part-time decorator, Lauren. Last but certainly not least is David who washes the dishes. Without him we would all go crazy!
